Progress Report on Business at Hand
Quick Note:
1. Fred's new Mommy says he likes potato chips and playing with people's hair. Awww...
2. I haven't heard anything from American Family Fitness. I did get a VM on Thursday asking me to call her (Ms. Wood) back. That's it. I guess that's better than nothing, nothing. It was very monotone, but I guess I shouldn't try to read anything into that. She said she'd be there until 5PM. I called her at 3PM and left a VM stating that I appreciated her call back and was eager to discuss the situation further. I got no return call. Not Thursday. Not Friday. (Insert Jeopardy music here.) Maybe she had an emergency. I'll try again on Monday. I'm still trying to think positive, although if it were good news that should have been easy enough to leave on a VM... something like, "Sure, Karen. Why didn't you just say so? Bring that marriage license on in and we'll get your family membership processed right away."
3. Kelly needs your support! (See previous post.) Vote! Vote! Vote!
4. Dexter started back. Woo hoo. I love that show.
5. I worked my butt off today. Well, not quite... (I just got this vision of me in a cartoon drawing with scrubs on and no ass. It would be lying on the ground behind me as I walk out of the hospital.) K. I'm off to bed. Later, taters.

You GO Fred!! Next find all the yarn you can. It's pure magic. If you can't find any, give Jadielady a call, she has a kitty that LOVES yarn.
I haven't heard from AMF either. Then again I didn't provide my phone number. But I'm not that hard to find on Google or the nifty invention: The Phone Book.

Ms. Wood. Her name is Francine Wood. Very nasal NE accent. Fake boobs, fake tan. Good Luck with your letter. Ms. Wood isn't the brightest star in the sky. But this blog lurker has faith in you Karen. . . I know you can change thier minds/ policy. If anyone can, it's you. :-)
St. Mary's Hospital (Peter Bernard/CEO) finally responded to my letter about my friend Melissa. He hid behind HIPAA which is fine but didn't respond to my "fears" about if/when I may need their services. dork.
I have not heard from AMF. Have you spoken to Ms. Wood yet?
Anon, Thanks for the info. I'm a bit under the weather right now, but I do intend to follow up with her.
Thomas, To her credit she has left me a VM. Actually between the two of us, we've left a succession of three - I think. Can't seem to catch each other and now I seem to be ill again. Good grief. I just don't have what it takes to have that conversation right now, but I'll get back to her.
